What's new in my Wardrobe?

I was so excited to see that Legit buyers have refined their taste. I recently went there and found these cute sandals which could pass as high end. They remind me of  a pair I saw at Zara but these were a steal. The top I got for almost free at R5 at a charity shop. Don't they just compliment each other so well.

I saw this lovely girl in Mowbray. I love her take of denim on denim. Plus the fact that she is sexy and cute does not hurt a bit. She has the perfect mix of things without overdoing it. 

Student Days

So being a student and working means some day I'm off my pumps and heels and rocking flats to attend classes and seminars. This week all my outfits will be for the simple student life days. I work with a wardrobe on a budget yet I want to look comfy and good. Here is what I wore today. South Africans are celebrating spring day today but its so cold down here in Cape Town Im in bed with my glass and book. What did you do to celebrate spring?

Bloggers I love

I recently came across a blog from Morocco that I love. I love how Louis mixes prints and patterns and colours. I want that type of variety in my own style yet I'm too afraid to play around with colour. I love his boldness and as we enter into Spring in the Southern hemisphere, he is just the right mix of colour and fun to inspire. Check out his blog here

More Winter Stuff

So I fell onto the boyfriend jeans band wagon ages ago but I have never actually bought a pair. I loved a pair once at Woolworths but the fit was not right. So I went to the source and guess what, my boyfriend had the perfect fit. They fit so well I think they were made for me. Anyhow here is how I think I will wear them for the Winter and I'll explore more options later when Summer hits. I love black and it works well for winter while I also think there should be a balance. I also carry two bags at a time sometimes  Why not, they are mine. Please share how you mix up your boyfriend jeans.

Surviving Cape Town

Sunshine Tease

So Cape Town is known for its moody and unpredictable weather. Its mostly cold from April to June and it rains a lot in July and August. So whenever we get some sunshine , you will notice people all over the city stealing moments of sandals and dresses because we are so cold most of the time. This past weekend I spent it running errands and paying bills. I wore a light dress with sleeves because of some light breeze and I took out my Zara tote for a stroll too. 

South African Grown

I was going through some online fashion magazines and I came across these two pics. 

Doesn't this one remind you of the traditional Zulu shoes .

And this coat reminds me of those large carry bag. I'm inspired by both ata how simplicity can be turned into amazing things.

My Fashion Inspiration- Miroslava Duma
