This dress is actually long but I pinned and held it with some thread on this look to make it shorter. I was desperate for what to wear and that was the best quick fix for me. 

World Design Capital

The city of Cape town has been declared a world design capital for 2014. I am looking forward to many exciting creative events that will take place in the new year.

Long Street Cafe Meals

.Hi guysI have developed this crazy obsession with food and cooking, thanks to the food network. I am also a girl on a budget so my meals have to be healthy yet affordable. The boyfriend and I have date nights and some days when we taken a break from my pap and eat out. We ate at the Long Street Cafe last week and I loved their steak. I tried it at home, not so great results. I have become somewhat of a food critic too. I find their food appetizing and affordable so I see myself going back. Turn around time between ordering and getting the food was also quick considering I was having a steak. I would say check it out and see for yourself.

Bright Courts

I am currently a obsessed with bright courts. I love this because they have a small heel and I am currently car less so they make my walks to work simpler. I also love how bright they are and they uplift anything I wear. Bright pink ones are from Mr Price and the rest are from Woolworths

Recycled Style

Brown paper is so useful to me because I make patterns with all that I have. Even when I buy food with brown paper I keep it for designs and all that. The dress was a  cheap find at A-LIST in Long Street. 

New Found Pleasures

I am trully experiencing the pleasure of laying back and reading my magazines. I have been a student for so many years and always had deliverables. Now I can focus on my designs and exploring style.
