Hi guys. My friend Lerato & her colleagues as residents of
Guguletu; decided to bring women of Gugs together for Brunch. The event titled “Clique” was aimed at bringing young women of Guguletu together for empowerment & to
raise funds for charity. The event was hosted at Pisto’s lounge in NY 112.
Pisto’s is an establishment well woven in the Guguletu fabric as it attracts a
full house every weekend. It was the perfect spot to gather at.
Clique was organized with the aim to bring the ladies of Gugs together to share ways & means of empowering each other. The theme of
the day included a motivational speaker who shared her life story & how she
climbed the ladder in the male dominated construction field. This was followed
by a delicious brunch paired with sparkling wine from JC Le ROUX as they were
the official sponsor of the event. The highlight of the day was a presentation on
tantalizing sex toys & ways to help the ladies navigate their sex lives.
Ladies of course arrived styled for the event looking all sort of gorgeous.
It was a great way for ladies to get together, share ideas, laugh, eat, drink
& just let go. The funds raised went to buying school shoes for children
at Lehlohonolo Primary school in Guguletu. The organisers of the event plan to host the event quarterly; so the next one should be around May or June bigger & better. For further information & more

thrifting of course. Totally forgot where I bought the bag. The Crop top is
