Dineo's Beauty Desk/ August Issue

Hi guys. I am glad I am bringing you this post over the weekend. I have wanted to share this for a while but always wondered if it was worth the words on the paper. But then over conversations with friends I've shared my use of baby products which amazed them. I then thought I'd share some ideas with you .Here are some of my favourite uses for baby products. I believe beauty is all round, not just your face and legs. I think women should be honest and share honest ways to improve their lives or just add a lil bit of quality in their day to day.

I am not sure about you but I “dance” with my boyfriend. I have sex and that’s a fact. You might think this is overshare, cool stop reading. Anyways if you do this and find the after situation clean up uncomfy with either towels or tissue, try baby wipes. They are moisturized and ready to be used. What I love about them is that they reduce the risk of infection as towels and tissues would. They are meant to clean and so they leave your vjj baby soft after the dance. It’s an easy, clean, fresh way to clean up after “dancing”.

Another amazing way to use wet wipes is to have the mini sized ones in my bag when I am on my periods. I always want to feel clean during this time. When I am at work or out and I have no time to change, I use baby wipes to clean before I change tampons. This way it feels like I just cleaned up. Good enough for a baby’s but, good enough for your vagina.
Another amazing simple way to use baby wet wipes is to remove make-up. As opposed to buying facial cleansing wipes, I simply use baby wipes to remove make-up. They don’t over-dry as they were meant for a baby’s  bottom so why would they dry your face. I say if they are good enough for a baby’s soft bum, they are good for my face.
Then there is the baby oil. Ohh baby oil my bestie of bests. I love this product. After I leave the shower in Summer or most nights, I apply baby oil on my skin while wet & slide into my pyjamas and get to work or be creative. If you use baby oil, apply it while the skin is wet to get the most moisture. I love to apply it mostly if I used soap to bath or I exfoliated my skin. I also use baby oil to nourish my hands after nail polish remover and before I apply nail polish. It removes the dryness from my nails
Last on my list is baby powder. I own the normal size baby powder and when I was in America I found they have a tiny tiny travel size so I got many of those because I love baby powder that much. You know those summer days when the heat is on. I am not sure about slender girls but thighs rub on each other when its hot out there. I apply some baby powder in the famous BeyoncĂ© thigh gap so that when they rub each other they don’t hurt.

Lastly I also apply baby powder inside some of my sandals in summer as feet get wet and slide inside some shoes. Just a sprinkle of baby powder and you are set to go. Be careful not to apply it where it will show. You don’t want white pale feet in your shoes.
Share with us how you use your baby products?????

Cape Town Food Festival/ What I'll Be Up To This Summer

Dumelang. I am so excited that Spring is finally here. In Cape Town the sun is finally shining. That means there will be lots of events happening in and around the city. Cape Town is a city full of adventure and things to do. There is always something to explore. I plan way in advance because I am a budget freak. I am blessed to have a job and to do some of the things I want. I work with the Lord to make what he gives me go a long way. Planning is key for me. I don’t like surprises at all. There are events you cannot exactly plan for like gigs that come up or an artist performance at a club etc.
On Sunday the 26th July I attended the Cape Town street food festival. I had been looking forward to it for the longest of time. It was ohk for me. I didn't appreciate the set up that much. It was at the side street studios in Woodstock. Parking was impossible to get which is the norm for Woodstock. Then there was the issue of space. I had hoped it would be at a more open space where you can see all the food vendors. It was really full and I found it hard to move. The food that I had was great and the vibe was good. Lots of good looking people there.

I wore the Punk & Ivy Skirt as a dress
Sunglasses from Spitfire
Blazer was thrifted
Shoes for Trenery at Woolworths
Bag from Zara

For Summer 2015/16 here are some events I will be attending. Hope to see you there. Please say hi & let’s take pics.

Bringing Sexy Back

Hi guys. Its fasting approaching spring and I am feeling excited. I adore spring and summer. The simplicity of dressing and wearing as little as possible or at least wearing one item instead of 3 to 4. I am looking forward to being free and having fun. I have so many clothes I have been putting off & hoping for the right moment to rock them. Well I say the time is now for me. I made this Tutu last year with the attempt to wear it at fashion week this year which I never made it to. So I decided that on my plans for happiness, I am also bringing sexy back into my life. I am struggling with weight and self-consciousness. I am not however going to hide under a rock while I try and find it. I will find me on the way being happy.

Body suit is from Mr Price
Tutu is my own design
Shoes are from Zara
Shades from Spitfire

Those Prints Again/ Loving a Good Mix

Hi guys. I hope the long weekend was blessed and a bliss for you. I had a quite one. One with little interruptions except those of the heart. Being in relationship ladies is one of the greatest parts of life. But at times boys can drive you the wrong way. Some times one just needs time alone. To avoid harsh words & regrettable actions, take a step back and re-group later with a clear mind. Anyways life moves on.

Now that I am done with the melodrama, here it is, the fashion & style. Forgive me for the image quality. Recently I am enjoying the socks and heels thingy. See here how I rocked them as well. I find it a great solution & easy when I am not in the mood for stalkings.

Layering is also another thingy I adopt at this time of the year when seasons change. It gets chilly at times then the sun comes up and then it gets cold again. If you live in Cape Town you will know what I mean. Try layering different patterns and colours and see how it goes. I like it because even if I remove the top layer, the layer underneath is still on point. If you want to try layering, use different textured fabrics & lengths so that all the layers can be visible. Again these are your clothes, wear them how you like and be unique.

Checked coat on top is thrifted, the botton jacket is from Anisa Mpungwe for Mr Price. The top is also from Mr Price & the Jeans are from Legit. The shoes are Woolworths & the fabulous clutch from Ntozinhle Accessorize.

Grey Matters/ Fast Forward To Spring

Hi Guys. I don’t know about the rest of the country but Cape Town is giving some sunshine. It’s not really that warm but it’s not freezing cold either. An opportunity has risen to show some legs. All hail the sun!!!!

It’s been a crazy week for me work & school wise. I feel like I am not entirely coping & starting to wonder whether I took on too much. Whether that’s true or not I promised myself I would see all this to the end.

Grey suits my mood well lately. I am not entirely in the light nor in the dark, just somewhere in between. As you can see from this post here, I love this grey skirt & polo from Mr Price. This time I decided to over-grey the shades while following on my coat series. I think this look translates well for many occasions. I also see myself wearing flats with this look. I just love it.

The Coat is from a collection of coats I sell, the polo neck & skirt are from Mr Price. Shoes from Steve Madden & the bag from a store in Tygervalley mall. This bag is one of my favourites by the way. See how I rocked it here as well.

1 Dress Two Ways/ Look 2

Hi guys. Then there was this dress/ two piece again, LOL. I hope you won’t be seeing much of it any longer (real high hopes). Anyways I wore this attire the whole day in just different ways. First was here where I pimped it up a bit for a more refined look. Refined in no means for high tea but I was going for a shopping extravaganza hosted by some of my favourite SA women entrepreneurs in fashion. Will tell you more about these ladies later on.

I wore this look for a brunch date with the boyfriend. I wanted a relaxed look for the Old Biscuit mill. I hope you know of & have been to the mill. This reminds me I should do a post for those of you who haven’t been yet.

If you follow me on instagram @dineostyled you will know how much I love these Mr Price Chelsea boots. They are my favourite winter item. They go with absolutely everything. The coat is vintage & the bag is from Zara.

When you want to wear your pink/red/blue summer dress in winter, go ahead. I recommend covering it up with something like a coat or a wool knit or whatever works. Just keep warm. One of the least appealing things to me is wearing close to nothing when it's freezing just to show off or whatever. Be practical while maintaining style.
