1 Coat Many Ways/ Look 4/ Casual Chic/ 1 Dress Two Ways/ Look 1

Hi guys. The weather is clearing up and it’s Fashion Week in Cape Town. This look is something I would rock to fashion week. Try it if you want inspiration. I shot this look weeks back but never posted it. I think the time has arrived. If I was asked to choose 10 of my favourite looks for this year, this would be on the list. I love this two piece because I converted my mama’s dress into this cutie. See here  where I wore it again & again. I paired with my current favourite coat which I have been showcasing in the past few weeks. The socks & shoes have sort of become a favourite combination in my closet. Tell me what you think of this look or any other things you want to ask or share.  Are you attending the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Cape Town???

One Coat Many Ways/ Look 3/ Red Vintage

Hi guys. Look 3 is all about showing casual chic. I love vintage dresses. They just have something extra added. They are unique and they fit in so many occasions. This one as usual I found at the flee market in Town (Cape Town city center). I paired it with the red flats. Now these shoes are going to be a summer staple for me just like pap is on my plate. They are just easy going but the red says so much.
Dress is Vintage, Shoes from Forever 21& the bag is from Nieman Marcus.

One Coat Many Ways/ Look 2/ Lunch with The Girls

Hi guys. So look 2 of the Pink Coat goes something like this! (Lol the MC in me). Anyhow I dressed up the coat a lil bit. In mind I had an occasion of going to see my girls for a late brunch etc. We normally look for specials where they have a two for one special and we are there. Not always of course because at times the heart grows fond and you want your people around. Otherwise I love a good session with a friend over good food plus drinks. Shared or paid in full, it’s the company that matters.

I don’t know know about you but I like to dress up when I am going to meet my friends. It’s always such a happy occasion I feel it should be accompanied by smart street wear. The laugher and crazy talk that go on there are enough to get me in a happy mood.

For this look I paired the coat with a Mr Price dress. I love the simplicity and the colours of the dress. To that I layered with another Mr Price priceless item, my Anisa Mpungwe Jacket. I stayed up the whole night before anticipating the launch of this range. I was convinced she would sell out the same day online. Anyhow I feel the prints together give a good mix of fun and provide a uniqueness to my ever mixed moods. The shoes are also from Mr Price, what are the odds that all these fab items cost less than R500. We all know Mr Price rocks. Its always fun to mix prints. Remember these are your clothes with your or your Mama's or Papa's money. Wear them how you like. Forget the rules....

The bangles are from the workshop flee market in Durban. Bag is from Ntozinhle jewellery. The weather seems to be clearing up so dress up & show some leg.

One Coat Many Ways/ Look 1/ Happy Mandela Month

Hi guys. I have been gone with the wind. After a long struggle of developing a new website with a new look I struggled a bit. I am still working on it & I will get it right. For now I shall keep going on this platform.

I don’t know about you but I am tired of winter and I want this Season gone. I put together a few looks using one staple coat that I am currently loving. Its basically about how to slowly move to a more Spring look but still keep your coats on.

The first look I tried was this more formal look. I see myself wearing this for worship in the morning and later to dinner with my man. I love the simplicity of this fine dress. One of the reasons I love Mr Price. Yes the dress is from Mr Price. The coat I got from my supplier, LoL, while some get supplied with weed I get a coat supply. The fabulous shoes are from Steve Madden & the neck piece from Lovisa.
