Hi Guys. Tbt reminds me of my time as a student
at UWC. I loved those days when I was a post graduate student and set my own
time and rules. I woke up early daily and prepared for the day ahead without
rushing. Student days for me I felt were the best. For those of you who are
still under mom and dad’s tab, take full advantage and enjoy the bliss. Or
better yet get part time employment which raises your experience levels and
sets you apart. Otherwise enjoy the fun and endless hours of just being. XoXo

Travelling, Oh Travelling
Hi Guys, I
don't know about you but I love travelling and exploring new places. I
have such desire to see architecture and I always think how amazing some people’s
minds work. There are lovely amazing places out there that if you are a
believer, you truly see Gods work through them. I travelled to the USA in 2012
and had the pleasure of visiting Kansas City and some other places. In this
post I share the things I loved that I saw. Hope to share some amazing Cape
Town spots with you guys soon because this city is beautiful.

One skirt many ways
Hi Guys. So I posted about this PVC skirt from
Mr Price here. I love this skirt so much so I have three of them. I made a DIY out
of one of them to make it shorter. I love the midi length one and yet I knew I would
want to wear it in summer too. So I decided to make a shorter version. I couldn’t
wait for summer so I have started wearing the skirt. I wore it twice already
and I can’t seem to get over it. Living in Cape Town means I have to keep warm
for more months than I have some sunshine. Tell me what you think of my combos?

Maybelline Baby Lips
Hi
guys. So I am one of those people that struggle with dry chapped lips. They are
very sensitive to weather changes and they chap easily. I have tried many
products and methods to ease my lip burdens. Anyhow I am currently trying out
the Maybelline back by lips range. Thus far it is working wonders and I love
it. I use it as a base before I put on lipstick because I find lipstick dries
them even more. Plus it’s very affordable.

Friday Feature: Hanneli Mustaparta
Hi
Guys. Today’s Friday feature is on former model Hanneli. Hanneli is a Norwegian
born model who started her career in her teens (no surprises). She has lived in
both Paris and New York in pursuit of her career. Hanneli started working as a
stylist in 2008 and stepped back in her role as a model and took behind the lens
when she started her own blog hanneli.com in 2009. Her blog features her own
looks and street style. She also works at Vogue as a contributing photographer. She has also worked as the art director of various publications. I love Hanneli because of her style. Like many models,
she has the model frame and look but something about her style sets her apart
from the rest. Check out her blog and see for yourself

Mr Price PVC Skirt
Hi
guys. No doubt if you are a regular visitor to my blog you will know I love MR
Price. I call the store (and company) the MR Big to my Carrie Bradshaw. Anyhow
todays post is about this pvc skirt. I
saw some of this trend on street style pics of Paris and New York. I knew I
wanted to own a skirt or shorts made of that material. And what do you know, my
MR Price delivers. I am sure in some other universe I am friends with the MR
Price buyers because they know what I need all the time and they are ever on
trend. Pops to you guys, you know your fashion. Anyhow I got this pvc skirt and
I have 3 of them. One will be turned into a mini, one into shorts. That way I
have it in all the ways I need it. In this post I wore it to work. I loved
wearing it with so much black because there are different tones of black. Tell
me what you think.

Lovisa Sale
Hi Guys. You
guys know the jewellery and accessories store Lovisa. I love it to bits. Their
pieces always leave me in awe and I am so inspired creatively and style wise
whenever I leave one of their outlets. They had a sale a while back and this
post is quite late. I bought this awesome feather neckpiece. Black being my favourite
colour made it stand out even more for me. I plan on taking it out for fashion
week this coming weekend. What do you think of my feathered friend?

Lameez Claasen S/S 2012
Hi Guys. Its truly a small world. So I discovered a day ago that I work with the mother of one of the MR Price ELLE star rising designers from the 2012 competition. This is the year that Jane Elizabeth Kotze won with her mohair collection. None the less. One of the designers that year was Lameez Claasen. I saw her designs and honestly I needed those shorts. They were made for me. Yes she didn't win but she got something great out of it. I want (need) those shorts and that top for Summer. I do hope Lameez is going to find it in her heart to part ways with them and I can show them off in my Summer travels and holidays. Check her collection out. Love love love.

Mr P Online Shopping
Hi
guys. I have always loved the idea of shopping online and having the convenience
of items delivered to my doorstep. Previously is SA there were no good online
store and banking made it hard to shop as they required one to have a credit
card etc etc. Since Mr Price launched their online store I have never been
happier with them. We all love MR P. It’s like my MR Big to my Carrie Bradshaw.
Anyway the experience is so easy and clean. All you have to do is create a
profile on their site, register your details, select the items you want to
purchase and pay. The good thing is they allow debit cards and they debit you
as soon as your payment goes through. They also of course allow credit cards
and their store card. I always choose for my items to be delivered to a nearest
store for R16. It’s the cheapest method and convenient. I urge you to try it. I
never have time to shop during the week because of work but now they gave me a
solution. I also never miss out on good items because I get them as soon as
they are out online. For me it’s been safe to shop with them thus far and I track
my order on their mobile App. Last week I had an orange attack and got these
two dresses. Believe it or not the short one (all orange) was R49.99. Can’t
wait for summer.
Was R99.99

Friday Feature: Eva Chen
Hi Guys.
This Fridays feature is Eva Chen. Eva is the editor in chief of Lucky Magazine. Eva
started her career as an intern at Harper's
Bazaar. Her navigation through the fashion world has also taken her to Elle
(USA) as the assistant beauty editor. She then moved to Teen Vogue
starting out as the beauty director. Eva is currently the boss lady at Lucky
Magazine and oh my I love her. I follow her instagram and her features are
always amazing. Lucky is very lucky to have Eva at the herald. She brings
flavour and a unique style. She loves street style which is why I love her more. It’s
also nice to see a magazine editor who smiles a lot.

Festival Inspired
Hey guys. Music Festivals all across the world have become such a part of peoples annual plans and lives. For me as a Cape Town resident I look forward to Rock the daisies every year. This year is my third year attending and I am hooked. I love the set up, the music, food and of course the many people I meet that just make my weekend worth the cold nights. Rocking the daisies happens around October in Darling in the Western Cape. October is warmer so I love that about it too.
For this year for those that are going or would like to attend, I totally recommend it.
Get your tickets though because 75% are already sold to date.
Basics you will needs are Wellies, warm jacket and some fun accessories and other items that will make you stand out.
I will do many posts leading up to and after the festival. Hope you like them.

One Item two ways
Hi Guys. So blogging has entered my soul now. Anyways. I just wanted to do a post on this little yellow sunshine of mine. This cardi/sweater/jersey is from Mr Price. Seeing as I am full time working babe who needs to look professional from Monday to Thursday, I need to have a well balance wardrobe that suits all the roles I play. I think when you shop you should choose items that work with many other items and they translate well. Check out how I wore this cardi to work with some fun colour blocking and how I kept it easy with boyfriend jeans on the weekend. Tell me what you think. XOXO.
